About the event

Pandora’s Box is an alternative art exhibition which gives an opportunity for creatives both novice and professional of any medium to display work. It is more vital than ever that spaces like these are provided in a time when the creative sector is consistently underfunded. After the success of our previous debut exhibition it is with zest that we announce the open call out for our October event. This year we have also introduced a theme for our exhibition, which is…

Pandora’s Box is an open medium and open content exhibition, meaning that we are open to hosting work that may not be deemed appropriate for traditional art and creative professional sectors. For example, amongst milder themes, we hosted taxidermy and themes of death, gore, trauma and sexual expression.

We welcome art that expresses YOUR ideas and YOUR experiences and YOUR voice. (Relating to our theme, of course!). Pandora’s Box is a grassroots project for alternative artists and people to come together and share their experiences and bond through art.

So come see what has been submitted, eat some pizza, listen to some dark and gothic tunes, and have a chat with your mates!

Halloween costumes encouraged, but of course, wear whatever you feel comfrotable in!

  • Pandora's Box FREE ticket

These tickets are free. So why get one? This is really helpful for us at BONK, not only for us to establish the floor plan and crowding, but also for the venue, as they can accomodate for food and drink for everyone. Our previous exhibition, we ran out of pizzas within an hour and a half, so by knowing numbers of attendees, it really helps us to supply what we want to offer!
